At Upkar Trust, we believe that the success of any skill development initiative depends not only on training but also on systematic planning, quality implementation, continuous assessment, transparent administration, and post-training guidance.
To ensure consistency and effectiveness, the Trust follows a structured operational methodology designed to provide trainees with a comprehensive learning experience.
Interested candidates may submit their applications through the prescribed process.
Applications are reviewed in accordance with the eligibility criteria, required documentation, and institutional procedures. Eligible applicants are registered as per the Trust's Admission and Fee Policy.
Training programs are conducted only at training centres approved by Upkar Trust.
The Trust strives to ensure that each approved centre has appropriate infrastructure, qualified trainers, training materials, and proper administrative systems.
Training is conducted by authorized trainers in accordance with the approved curriculum and institutional training policies.
Each program combines theoretical knowledge with practical learning, emphasizing quality, workplace safety, discipline, professional ethics, and competency development.
Each training program is generally delivered in three progressive phases:
The standard duration of the complete training program is generally nine (9) months, although the duration may vary depending on the specific project or training discipline.
The Trust maintains records of trainees' attendance, practical work, learning progress, and overall performance throughout the training period.
Assessment is conducted at the completion of each phase according to the prescribed evaluation system.
The evaluation process may include written examinations, practical assessments, oral tests, assignments, or project-based evaluations, depending on the nature of the training program.
Certificates are awarded to trainees who successfully complete all prescribed training phases, fulfill attendance requirements, and meet the evaluation standards established under the Trust's Certification Policy.
Upon successful completion of training, interested participants may receive introductory guidance on entrepreneurship, including business planning, product costing, quality management, customer service, packaging, branding, and basic marketing concepts, subject to the nature of the program and available resources.
Where appropriate and subject to the availability of suitable arrangements, trainees may be guided or connected with authorized service providers regarding access to raw materials, product marketing, or other business-related support services.
Such services shall be governed by the respective policies, commercial terms, quality standards, and mutual agreements of the concerned service providers.
All institutional activities are conducted in accordance with the Trust's policies, operational guidelines, and applicable laws.
Administrative, academic, and financial records are maintained systematically and may be reviewed or audited whenever required under applicable procedures.
Upkar Trust periodically reviews its training programs, curricula, teaching methodologies, assessment systems, and administrative practices to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with evolving technologies, industry trends, and community needs.
We believe that an effective skill development system should:
Deliver quality education and practical training.
Build professional competence through hands-on experience.
Promote discipline, ethics, and responsibility.
Strengthen confidence and leadership.
Encourage entrepreneurship and innovation.
Inspire lifelong learning and self-reliance.
Through this structured methodology, Upkar Trust remains committed to promoting skill development, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for the benefit of society.
"We believe that training is not merely an event but a continuous process of learning, growth, and empowerment. Our goal is not only to teach skills, but to prepare individuals for a confident, responsible, and self-reliant future."
